Trip to Broken Bow, Oklahoma

On the 1st of August, 2022 I had knee replacement surgery on my right knee.  The operation went well but the anesthesia and pain meds caused my bladder to shut down and I couldn't pee for a couple of weeks.   In an effort to get my bladder working again I went off my pain meds which greatly increased the pain involved with healing from this surgery.  However, by October I was much improved and ready to hit the road again.  We decided to go to Broken Bow, OK which has a very nice state park.  We left on Oct 20 in the RV and headed to a campground on Hugo Lake in Oklahoma.  On Oct 21 we explored the town of Hugo and the area surrounding the lake on the scooter.  On Oct 22 we drove the scooter to Broken Bow and explored the area around Beavers Bend State Park.  We stopped for lunch at the Buffalo Grill in Hochatown.  We stayed one more day at the campground and headed back on home on Oct 24.
